Caring and Convenient Placenta Services
Placenta Encapsulation, Commemorative Art, and Other Products
I loved being able to meet someone so close to home, to be able to provide this service to me. Christina took the time to meet me on a couple of different occasions and it became very clear that she was truly invested in my experience. She kept in constant touch with me, once I notified her I was going into the hospital to deliver. She came by quickly to collect the placenta and delivered the capsules the minute I got home, with a lovely bunch of flowers, which was such a nice treat. She was tremendously responsive…I highly recommend anyone that is considering this to go with her.
The placenta is one of the most overlooked parts of pregnancy and birth, but this magical organ can help support you even after the baby is born. If you’re concerned about postpartum depression or anxiety, anemia, or dramatic hormone changes, consuming capsules, tinctures, or smoothies made from your placenta can help regulate and replenish hormones and nutrients after birth.

Potential Benefits of Encapsulation
- reducing the risk of postpartum depression or ‘baby blues’
- replenishing your iron from blood loss during birth
- lending you a consistent flow of oxytocin long after your birth euphoria ends
- providing the HPL (human placenta lactogen) hormone to help establish early and healthy milk supply
- stabilizing your ever-changing post-birth hormones
- replenish your B-vitamins and energy that were used during the labor and birthing process
- protection from infection and bleeding due to retained placenta tissue or membrane
- natural pain relief from the labor and birth of the baby
Don’t worry about having to see or handle the placenta if you’re squeamish. I will coordinate pickup from the hospital or your home, preparation, encapsulation, and drop off. Within 48-72 hours, you will receive your capsules, a cord keepsake (spiral or heart shape upon request), a commemorative Tree of Life print, dosage and storage instructions, one postpartum visit, and any additional tinctures or salves. We will go through all instructions for pickup and dropoff during a prenatal meetup.
Choose from the following preparation methods:
RAW Method
The RAW Method is inspired by the Raw Foods Movement. The placenta is never heated above 160 degrees Fahrenheit. This method creates a very nutrient and hormone dense capsule.
Traditional Chinese Method
The Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) inspired preparation involves lightly steaming the cleansed and drained placenta with lemon and ginger before dehydrating and grinding into capsules. These elements assist in adding warmth to the body which enhances the effect of the placenta and speeds healing.
Placenta Services
Placenta Encapsulation
Includes pick-up, drop-off, preparation of capsules, cord keepsake, Tree of Life print, dosage and storage instructions, and one postpartum visit.
Placenta Tincture (4 oz.)
Having a tincture made from your placenta is a great way to preserve and extend its many benefits, especially after you have finished your capsules. A small portion of your raw placenta is prepared and infused in alcohol for six weeks. It will be delivered in an amber dropper glass bottle six weeks after the initial pickup of your placenta. You can dilute in a beverage or place drops directly under your tongue.
Placenta Smoothie
Utilizing the raw placenta directly after birth is becoming an extremely popular and important step in a new parent’s postpartum healing. And I can actually make it taste good! Using different variations of regular green or fruit smoothies, I can add a small piece of your raw placenta to lend you the immediate benefits of placenta consumption while you wait for your capsules.
